A good
games aren't entirely
a waste of time. How can you make anyone outside your cult understand
that
the time you're spending at mastering the arcana of some silly fantasy
game is not actually wasted time? Well, you cannot. Just remember that
playing a computer game is often an intensely personal and
transformative
experience.

| The first few hours with any
good game are exciting but
ultimately
frustrating. You learn how deeply layered this new world is, and then,
how
far you have to go to master it. The mark of good game has always been
how much time you spent playing and enjoying it, and if the game can
bring
you back for a second and third round. The thing is, games are a great
form of escape, providing you with a way to relax, learn, sharpen your
skills or to simply fantasize. So, enjoy! |
