James Bond Movies - Music
Die Another Day (Music from the Motion Picture) [SOUNDTRACK] David Arnold, Madonna
James Bond has never been cooler -and neither has a soundtrack in the action hero's series of blockbuster films. The title is track by Madonna, who has a cameo in the movie. Along with a score by one-time Bjork collaborator David Arnold, it also features the classic James Bond Theme remixed by cutting edge dance master Paul Oakenfold.
The CD is also enhanced with Madonna's 'Die Another Day' music video, the making of the video segment, Bond bonus extras, women of Bond gallery and more. Warner Bros. 2002.

David Arnold's music for Tomorrow Never Dies is arguably less adventuresome than Serra's for Goldeneye, returning largely to Barry's conservative musical pattern for the Bond films. But it's still grandly effective, and probably better than the movie it supports. --J. McCulley

The James Bond Collection [BOX SET]
While this collection spans music from Dr. No to The World Is Not Enough, decades of various legal entanglements prevented it from becoming the ultimate Bond music anthology. This is more a credible simulation, a newly recorded collection of cues and suites (including music previously unreleased on the original soundtracks) performed by Nic Raine and the City of Prague Symphony Orchestra. With John Barry's lush, ever-evocative scores both forming the core and setting the tone (but also featuring the work of George Martin, David Arnold, Michael Kamen, Bill Conti, and Eric Serra), it's the most comprehensive -if not exactly authentic --collection of Bond music yet attempted.
