Grilled Chinese Hoisin Pork

Ingredients:

2 pieces of pork tenderloins (about 1 lb (454 g) each
1/4 cup Chinese hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons Chinese chili-garlic suce
2 tablespoons mustard
2 tablespoons soy sauce


Preparation:

  • In a medium bowl mix together sauces and mustard, set aside.
  • Preheat barbecue to medium heat and grease the grill.
  • Barbecue tenderloins on greased grill for about 10 minutes turning frequently.
  • After 10 minutes of barbecuing, start brushing tenderloins with prepared sauce mixture, turning and brushing frequently for next 10 minutes, or until tenderloins are done. They are the best when slightly pink on the inside and light brown on the outside.
  • After aproximately 20 minutes, they should be done.
  • When they are done remove them from the grill to the cutting board and let them cool for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Slice tenderloins into 1/2 inch slices and serve with grilled or steamed vegetables, cooked rice and salads.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
