Ingredients:
1/2 lb unsalted butter or margarine, melted
2 1/2 cups quick oats
2 cups light brown sugar
4 tablespoons flour
pinch salt
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation:

Dissolve sugar in butter and let cool. Gradually add dry
ingredients, then slightly beaten egg and vanilla.

Preheat the oven to 375 F (190 C).

Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls on a foil or parchment paper
lined cookie sheet.

Bake about 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown.

Cool on racks.
