Ingredients:
2 cups butter or margarine
1 cup sugar and
1/3 cup honey
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons lemon juice
5 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons crushed hard candies

Preparation:

In a mixer or food processor mix butter and sugar until smooth. Add
honey, eggs and vanilla.

Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Add flour mixture to butter
mixture and form the dough.

Wrap and chill the dough overnight.

Roll out the dough and cut shapes with cookie cutters. Then cut out
areas for "windows" or roll dough and cut shapes with some open spaces
and put onto cookies.

Place the cookies on a well greased cookie sheet.

Fill the openings with crushed hard candies.

Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C).

Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes or until golden.

Let cookies cool for 5 minutes before removing them from the cookie
sheet.

Let cool completely on wire rock.
