Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon juice
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
pinch salt

Preparation:

In a mixer or food processor mix butter and sugar until smooth. Add
eggs, vanilla and lemon juice. Mix well.

Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Combine flour mixture to butter mixture and form dough.

Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill at least 1 hour.

When ready to bake preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C).

Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut cookies.

Place cookies on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake for about 10
to 12 minutes or until golden.

Cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes, than transfer to wire rack.

Decorate.
