CAMPHOR BASIL

Camphor basil has a strong camphor aroma overlaying the characteristic basil scent; excelent in herb mixtures (usually very hard to find). If hard to find, add star anise to sweet basil.

Camphor Basil is an annual shrub reaching about five feet tall in a season which becomes woody with camphor-scented leaves that can be used in sachets to protect woolens and as a tea for stomach aches.
