Theme and amusement parks have been established in the United States for years. The first known amusement park was at Coney Island in Brooklyn, NY.

Cedar Point - A great amusement park near Sandusky, Ohio with 364 acre (1.5 km²) located on a peninsula jutting into Lake Erie. It opened in 1870 and is the second oldest amusement park in North America (Lake Compounce being the oldest). Cedar Point has the world's tallest and fastest roller coaster, the Top Thrill Dragster.

Dinosaur Park and Museum, Ogden, Utah  - Get away from the hustle and pressures of modern life and consider taking a big step back (some hundred milion years).
