Anchovy Spread

Ingredients:

1 package cream cheese ( 8 oz. or 240 g. ); softened
1 tablespoon sour cream
1 medium red pepper; mince
1 can rolled anchovies
1 tablespoon onion; minced
ground black pepper to taste

Preparation:

  • In a medium bowl mix all the ingredients together.
  • Cover and refrigerate until serving time.
  • Garnish with red pepper rings and green onion and serve with rye bread or toast points.
  • Delicious on canapés or sandwiches.
