The Djakovo Cathedral located
in the Slavonia region of Croatia a neo-romanesque building erected in
the second half of the 19th century, thanks to Bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer,
who was a key figure in culture and science in 19th century Croatia.
Pope John Paul II visited Djakovo Cathedral on June 7th 2003. |
